RV Travel Reviews
Are you one of those people that reads all the reviews of a hotel before you choose one? Are you wondering which sites to use when you are searching for an RV Park? Here are a few suggested website for you to try the next time you aer planning a trip.
1. RV Park Reviews
This website has been around a long time and was one of the first to offer RV'ers a chance to review individual RV Parks. The downside to this site is that it doesn't allow park owners to respond to each review. I believe that being open and honest about situations is ultimately the best way to solve problems and the ability to respond to reviews is an important feature. Make sure to check the reviews that a particular reviewer wrote about other parks - sometimes you can tell a lot about the person if they have been negative about every experience they've had.
2. Guest Rated
This is a great website designed to give an overall rating for each park. They use a grade and a number scoring system and users can rank the park in various areas such as restrooms, cleanliness, amenities, etc. Another great thing about this site is that it allows the park owner to respond to comments directly and these comments are visible to anyone viewing the site. This is a great way for you to see if the park is taking steps to remedy certain situations and is even reading the reviews.

3. Camp-California.com
This site allows you to search for RV Parks and campgrounds throughout California. It is a great resource for anyone wanting to make plans for traveling in California because it gives tips and destination information as well as reviews of parks. You can even search by region or park name.

4. Yelp
Everyone knows about Yelp - but can you use it to find reviews about RV Parks? I've found that only a few parks have reviews written about them. Therefore, the chance that you will get an overall review of the park is pretty slim. When only one person reviews a property, it's hard to know if that's really how the park is or if it's just a disgruntled guest. Perhaps this site will take off as more people use it for this purpose.
